Venice
|
The wife's arranged a surprise trip for my birthday this weekend. She's done her best to keep it secret, but am 99% sure its Venice.
At tips on places to go apart from the obvious ones?

I went in the summer,I didn't smell, take plenty of money,at least in the winter you won't have to queue for hours in the oppressive heat and humidity, but it's a great place always something to do and see.

Wasn't a huge fan tbh.
Quite expensive.
Very photogenic though.
Food was decent (obviously).
Smells like actual human shit in places, and you get lost all the time no matter how good your map and sense of direction are.
Some people love all that cos it's part of the "experience" though.
Went in November and it was cold but sort of humid at the same time.
Wouldn't go again but each to their own.
